Kaberamaido Operation Save the Needy (KOSAN) is a community-based initiative that was established in 2003 by Catholic Church Priests and a few professional laity of Soroti Catholic Diocese who hail from Kaberamaido (Kumam land), to mitigate the impact of HIV and poverty on communities in Kaberamaido Mother District. The initiative was registered as a Community Based Organization in 2003 and as an indigenous NGO in 2005.
